Stuff you should get for melee training

Hi,
So to progress further into runescape i decided to lvl up combat skills, because i need them for questing. But i decided to get 2 items before my melee journey to be as efficient as i can. Both items are obtained from Dungeoneering skill and cost 134k tokens.
Really useful items, with charming imp you can forget about picking charms which you will need for summoning, and with bonecrusher you will automatically bury bones of creatures that you kill. They are really worth getting if you want to get into combat skills seriously. Of course its kinda pain to get 134k tokens if your dungeoneering is low but hey i did it so you can too ;)

I made a video how i did it, have fun! :)

Runescape minigame for hunter xp

So lately i didn't have so much time and i was doing only daily minigames.
One of them is Big Chinchompa minigame where you can get 60k free hunter xp per day (depends on your hunter lvl of course)
In this minigame you just run around, catch as many moths as you can and get easy hunter xp rewards.

This is how you do it:

  • Go to minigame interface and check the timer, when its about to start get your self to the portal which is located in tree gnome stronghold near agility arena.
  • Go through portal and wait for little gnome to dig out of underground.
  • Then go to that cave and you will end up in minigame
  • Get yourself protea flower there and wield it (chance to catch highest possible moth)
  • Then run around fill your jar with 15 moth and then drop them on chinchompa.
  • Repeat last part till chinchompa fells a sleep.
  • Then go to that gnome and trade your points for hunter xp.
  • You can do it twice per day.

Here is lvl requirements for different moths, xp and point gains.

Have fun with this and check video guide:

Runescape D&D Sinkholes guide

Ok, so this is guide for the most useful minigame in runescape - sinkholes.
Sinkholes is a minigame for Dungeoneering skill which i don't like so much. But this minigame is just lifesaver because it makes that skill way easier. Dungeoneering has a lot of useful stuff so people are forced to level that skill, but you can just do daily sinkhole game and level up with no effort. It will take longer but no more dark dungeon grinding. Also if you lucky you can get lots of tokens.

  • To enter this minigame just check your minigame tab and about 3 minutes before game get yourself to Daemonheim.
  • Make sure you are on world 134.Its official sinkhole world.
  • Run to old guy named Talsar and ask to teleport you to sinkhole spawn location.
  • Wait there till sinkhole spawns.Get in. If you have any stuff put it in chest.
  • Talk to Gorajo to enter dungeon.Your status will change to ready and then just wait.
  • Shortly you will be teleported to game and if its your first time you will have to choose your combat style.I prefer mage or range because they more efficient but melee works well too.
  • Now just run to new rooms and pick up exploratory totems, kill monsters and get at least 1 raw resource. When you have all 3, focus on getting combat totems and exploratory totems.
  • Gather resources when there is no monsters left and all rooms have been explored.
  • Don't wait until you fill your inventor just deposit whatever you have to closest deposit chute.

Points for resources:

30 for combat totem
20 for exploratory totem
10 for resources

When everything turned in you will be teleported to treasure room. There you will want to know about 11 cards:

Trading leech card - trades your chest with previous player.
Beguiling smoke devil card - randomizes all chests.
Whimsical bunyip - will randomly generate and play one of 10 other cards.
Trading mantis - trades your chest with next player.
Thieving locust - trades your chest with last player.
Scavenging meerkat - adds a bonus medium lamp to your chest.
Reversing pheonix - reverses last card played before you.
Protecting titan - protects your chest from next player.
Preeing ibis - adds a piece of Hoardstalker outfit, ring, or Naabe title.
Consistent yak - guarantees that you will get medium lamp.
Cloning mosquito - copies chest of player before you.

My favorite cards is cloning mosquito, protecting titan, scavenging meerkat and trading mantis.

Even if you end up getting small lamp it's still worth it so there is no losers :)
If you need more information, you can find it here ;)
Good luck with rewards and have fun.

Leveling construction to 99 easily with portable sawmills method

So ye, finally reached my first 99 and can share some tips, which helped me.

Lets talk about this portable sawmills method.

Why this method?

Well its pretty fast and you can get 99 FOR FREE!
You get protean planks by making any kind of planks on the portable sawmill.
The trick is that protean plank works as any plank, but it is stackable = big advantage!

1st thing you want to know if you really want to use this method is "where are those sawmills?" and you can find that out by simply joining friends chat Portables FC. There you can ask where sawmills are and within few seconds you will get the answer.Sometimes no one is hosting sawmills so no worries just be patient and sooner or later someone will start hosting it.Here is the LINK to their forum thread where you can find some rules and useful information. Also if you are rich you can buy sawmills and host them by yourself and also share it with others of course. Price range for sawmills are around 40k-80k ea. Portable sawmills are originally obtained from treasure hunter.

Then you want to choose which logs you will be using. Personally i used oak logs like 90% of the time, because i didn't have a lot of extra gold, and oak planks keeps fairly stable profit. For example:
i buy 1k oak logs 250ea but i will sell only 940 planks because 6% of logs turns into protean planks so it will be 940 planks. To make 1k logs into planks i will spend 475k(log price and sawmill fee included), so if i sell 940 planks for 625ea i get (940*625=587500) then just take 587500-475000=112500 gold profit.
So yea better tier of logs faster gain of protean planks but lower the profit.

Chance to get protean planks and sawmill fee:
Oak logs - 6% sawmill fee 225
Teak logs - 8% sawmill fee 450
Mahogany logs -10% sawmill fee 1350

Just check plank and log price at official runescape website they have grand exchange tab very usefull to have that open and then just calculate and you will decide which log will suit your needs :)

So now you want to know "how many planks do i need to get my desired lvl?"
1 plank = 140xp. Find you your desired xp and then just divide it by 140.For example i needed 12,850,391 xp to reach 99. So 12850391/140=91788 < and here you go this is how many protean planks you need.

Also i would recommend using this method after you reached construction lvl 52, because from there you will be able to make mahogany tables which gives 840xp/ea.Also don't forget to have steel framed workbench in your house, this will let you make mahogany table flatpacks. Of course you can go to building mode, go to dining room and build and destroy that table by hand, but i think flatpacks are more stable xp because you don't have to be so focused on game and its more relaxing.

To not burn out on this i set my daily goal to get 6k protean planks because i can't stand doing same thing over and over again because things like that makes me want to quit games. So i took it slow but steady, sometimes i was making more than my daily goal, but i always made 6k at least. Other people just rush for the planks and then just burns out after nolifing 10+ hours and gains goes down.

But ye at the end of the day it is all about the fun if you don't feel fun just take a break and resume later because games is one of many things that should be fun. Have fun in achieving your runescape and irl goals and see you later! :)

Also check my video how i reached 99 construction :)

Hello people!

This is my first blog and i will keep it simple for now.

In this blog i will be posting stuff related to runescape. Things like quest guides, skill guides or even money making guides. But mostly i will post my videos because i really like making those.I like making funny videos but of course i need a lot of practice. Also i really struggle with my English so i hope that i will improve at it. Of course its embarrassing for me to talk to myself and think which word should i say or how to pronounce it, but hey i find it funny too. It will be really funny to watch these posts after few years. And i'm all about fun in life :)
So here i go my first runescape commentary thing/introduction kinda. For just a warm up ;)

I appreciate any criticism so feel free to do that :)
